I’m so happy you’re here, friend! I want to help you discover your story, because I truly believe that at the heart of everyone’s story is their testimony.
“What God is bringing you through at this very moment will be the testimony that will bring someone else through. No mess, no message.”
My Testimony…
It was during my eleven day stay in a hospital bed when the Lord so strongly placed the verse on my heart “I am fearfully and wonderfully made.” And then He said, “This will soon be your testimony.” Little did I know that within one week, my 52-year-old husband and soul mate of 30 years would suddenly pass away from a cardiac arrest.
Shattered! Share my testimony? Really?? I couldn’t begin to fathom how. But in His timing and through the mending of my heart, the Lord began to reveal how sharing my story was not only part of my journey to healing, but also powerful in the healing of many others.
Could it be a lost marriage, financial struggles, a child who has shut you out, a broken heart… Although God truly did not cause these painful things, he has none-the-less entrusted you with a story and a voice. And as you begin to see God at work in your most trying moments, you can use those experiences to help others, and THAT will become your testimony.
Sharing our story validates the voice God gave us. And if we risk using our voice, it will bring us and others freedom and healing.
With God’s guidance, I have developed a retreat-style women’s ministry based on Psalm 139 entitled, ‘This Will Soon Be Your Testimony’. Throughout the sessions, women will have the opportunity to share their experiences with one another in a safe environment, and discover how their stories can be used to build their testimony.
What story has he entrusted to you?
