Michele’s Story
Michele McIntire is a mother of three boys, a music teacher, a licensed minister and most recently a widow. In July of 2020, she was hospitalized with a terrible headache. During the 11 day stay, she kept repeating Psalm 139:14 over and over: 'I am fearfully and wonderfully made. I am fearfully and wonderfully made.' And she heard the Lord say, 'This will soon be your testimony.' Within a week of coming home, her husband of 30 years died of sudden cardiac arrest. Her world was shattered, her best friend was gone, her testimony was lost. Over time and with the Lord's intense help, she became determined to use this experience - this story - to help others.
With God's guidance, Michele has developed a retreat-style women's ministry based on Psalm 139 entitled, "This Will Soon Be Your Testimony." Throughout the sessions, women have the opportunity to share their experiences with one another in a safe environment, and discover how their stories can be used to build their testimony. Women leave the retreat knowing how to share past experiences to help others, and that past and present trials will soon become testimonies.
“I waited patiently for Jehovah; And he inclined unto me, and heard my cry. He brought me up also out of a horrible pit, out of the miry clay; And he set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings. And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: Many shall see it, and fear, And shall trust in Jehovah.”
